Friends of the girl who accused Dani Alves of rape testified in court.
Both girls - the footballer`s alleged victim`s cousin and a friend - confirmed the victim`s version of rape in the toilet of a Barcelona nightclub.
Witnesses also described Alves` behavior. One girl said that he put his arm around her waist, another said that Dani touched her private parts. The girls noted that the Brazilian’s behavior was unpleasant to them.
The judge suggested that the second witness sue Alves, but she refused so as not to minimize the significance of the rape of the first victim.
The girls also confirmed the victim`s statement that she did not know that the restroom door actually led to the toilet. Witnesses thought it was the door to the smoking room.
Alves` defense responded to the girls by saying there were still inconsistencies in the testimony of the victim and witnesses.
