Jamie Carragher commented on the England team`s exit from the 2022 World Cup at the quarter-final stage.

Whoever wins the match [between England and France] would be the favorite for the tournament. I think I would have felt for the first time that England were favorites for the World Cup if they had beaten France.

Considering how England played in the match and which teams were left in the tournament, it really feels like a missed opportunity, ” said the former Liverpool and England player.
