Lakers guard Austin Reaves talked about how he felt when he wasn`t selected in the 2021 NBA Draft.

I was very angry, to be honest. Of course, I didn`t believe that all 60 players selected in that draft were better than me.

But in the draft, it`s not just a player`s current talent that matters. After the 25th pick, it`s all about potential.

I wasn`t happy, but I knew I would have a chance. All I needed was for someone to give me the opportunity to prove myself, ” Reeves said.
