The Lakers decided to retain shooting guard Austin Reeves (24 years old, 196 cm) and power forward Waynein Gabriel (25 years old, 206 cm) on the team. Both players` contracts will be guaranteed until the end of the season, ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Reeves and Gabriel`s contracts for the 2022-23 season were not guaranteed. The defender will earn 1. 6 million dollars, the forward – 1. 9 million.

Reeves`s numbers this season are 10. 8 points, 3. 1 rebounds and 2. 2 assists per game on average, Gabriel`s numbers are 5. 8 points and 3. 9 rebounds.
