Giovanni van Bronckhorst is leaving Rangers.
The Scottish club announced the dismissal of the 47-year-old specialist as head coach due to unsatisfactory results in recent months.
The Dutchman took charge of the Glasgow team on November 18, 2021. Under his leadership, Rangers reached the European Cup final for the first time in 14 years (in the Europa League final, the Scots lost to Eintracht - 1:1, 4:5 on penalties), and also won the Scottish Cup.
After 15 rounds of the current Scottish Championship season, Rangers have scored 22 points and are in second place, 9 points behind Celtic. In the Champions League group with Napoli, Liverpool and Ajax, the Scots did not score a single point.
