Markieff Morris said he was happy to move from Brooklyn to Dallas along with star point guard Kyrie Irving.
In exchange for Irving and Morris, the Nets received Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, an unprotected 1st round pick in the 2029 draft and two 2nd round picks (2027 and 2029).
To be honest, I was hoping that I would be traded with him. I just wanted to get to a place where I would have the opportunity to play. Man, there`s so much going on out there. “I just want to play basketball, ” Morris admitted.
