The ACE Electric Series racing will begin next season.
The championship positions itself as a youth championship for Formula E. The series was headed by ex-Mahindra boss Dilbah Gil, Formula E founder Alejandro Agag joined the supervisory board, former Formula 1 and Formula E driver Nick Heidfeld became ACE development driver and consultant.
The races will take place in two divisions using identical cars, but with different power levels. It is assumed that the ACE cars will be similar in their characteristics to the second generation Formula E cars.
The organizers announced a regional format on different continents, but it is not yet clear where exactly the stages will take place.
