The WTA and Saudi Arabia`s Public Investment Fund (PIF) have announced a long-term partnership.
Together they will develop women`s professional tennis and inspire more women and girls around the world to take up tennis, as well as promote and develop initiatives aimed at supporting players at all levels, the press release said.
PIF will become the first ever title partner of the WTA rankings.
The men`s rating has been named after the foundation since February. At the same time, PIF became a partner of joint tournaments in Indian Wells, Miami and Madrid and the WTA 1000 and ATP 500 tournaments in Beijing.
The next three women`s final tournaments will be held in Riyadh.
