Alexander Zverev spoke about the consequences of falling in the match.
He fell on his left hand in the quarterfinals against Taylor Fritz and injured his pinky finger.

- The finger is swollen. As far as I understand, I tore the [articular] capsule. Don`t ask. I tore something. I don`t know what it is. But I didn`t break any bones, which is good. Yesterday I took an x-ray. The bones are fine. So today I was able to play on painkillers.

The finger is still very, very swollen. But this could be dealt with. Of course, I`m glad I was able to play today.
