Given the problems with the reliability of equipment at the start of the season, we can say that the start of the championship turned out to be difficult. However, in the future, we began to show good and very stable performances. Then I had a few bad races, as a result of which I ended up far behind Max.
However, we still managed to earn a lot of points, got on the podium a few times, won a couple of races. I think we were able to get back on the right track somewhere in the eight races before the end of the championship. And in the end, the battle with Charles Leclerc and Ferrari turned out to be very intense, - said Perez.
