Boston forward Jason Tatum, after defeating the Lakers (122:118, OT), spoke about the approach of head coach Joe Mazzulla to unsuccessful stretches in the team`s performance.
The Celtics missed a 20-point lead in the second half of the game, but managed to get the win in the extra five minutes. Tatum scored 44 points.
Joe keeps saying he`s not going to save us. He wants us to figure it out ourselves. He challenges me, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, demands more of us.
Last match I played like crap and he told me so. He said that the rest of the guys in the team would be guided by my game. This is my responsibility in every match, ” Tatum admitted.
