Former Formula 1 driver Nikita Mazepin will compete in the Asian Le Mans Series in the 2023 season.
Competitions will be held in February in the UAE. The first race of the 4 hours of Dubai will be held on February 11, the second - in the same place the next day. After that, two more four-hour races a week later will be held at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
Mazepin will drive the ORECA 07 LMP2 prototype. His crewmates will be Ben Barnicote and Felix Porteiro.
I am glad that I am returning to racing and will be in the Asian Le Mans Series. Together with my 99 Racing teammates, I hope to get a wonderful experience of playing in the sport that I love so much, ” Mazepin said.
Mazepin will compete in the Asian Le Mans Series
