Honda has notified the FIA of its intention to become a F1 minder from 2026, and the Japanese firm has various options for a return.
The company left the championship at the end of the 2021 season, although it continues to work with Red Bull and Alpha Tauri power plants. In 2026, according to Autosport, Honda could become just a manufacturer, but in recent days other options have begun to be discussed in the paddock. One of them is a collaboration with Alpha Tauri, which could become a Honda factory team, or even the acquisition of the team from Faenza from Red Bull.
The publication also confirms the information that Ford could become a minder for Red Bull, as reported by the German press in November.
