I firmly believe that I have acted properly in recent years and that the accusations leveled against us were unfounded, ` the ex-president of Juventus said at a meeting of the club`s shareholders.
Earlier, the entire board of directors of Juventus, including Agnelli, resigned. Juventus and former members of the club`s management face legal proceedings.
On Monday, Exor, owned by the Agnelli family and majority owner of Juventus, presented a list of candidates for the club`s new board of directors. Canluca Ferrero is running for chairman, and Maurizio Scanavino is running for CEO. The new lineup of the board of directors will be announced at the meeting of shareholders on January 18.
