The Ottawa general manager spoke about the chances of DJ Smith to keep the position of coach.

This is not some vote of confidence. DJ is our coach and will remain so. I believe in the game of this team under Smith.
I look at expected goals in a five-on-five game and see that we are sixth in the NHL. Last season we were 30th. There are many good things.
