Striker Kylian Mbappe repeated the achievement of two-time world champion Vava.
The French footballer scored goals in two World Cup finals. In 2018 he scored against Croatia (4:2), in 2022 against Argentina (3:3, 2:4 on penalties).
Only five players have managed to score in the finals of two World Cups. In addition to Mbappe, these are the Brazilian Vava (1958, 1962), the Brazilian Pele (1958, 1970), the German Paul Breitner (1974, 1982) and the Frenchman Zinedine Zidane (1998, 2006).
