Barcelona midfielder Sergi Busquets could switch teams in the coming months.
According to Diario Sport, the midfielder is thinking about moving to the MLS in the winter, before the start of the season in the American League.
Blaugrana head coach Xavi asked the 34-year-old to stay until the end of the Spanish championship and work out the contract to the end, since there is no one to replace him yet.
Moreover, Barcelona can offer Busquets a new agreement for six months - until December 2023. Then he can be released just in time for the start of the next MLS season.
The parties are expected to meet in the coming days.
