Lewis Hamilton is looking forward to multiple Mercedes titles in the future.
Hamilton retired at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and finished sixth in the individual standings, Mercedes was third in the Constructors` Championship.
In the next weeks we will return to the base, see everyone. Although we will not celebrate the championship, we will celebrate the hard work of the team.
Hopefully the hardships we`ve experienced this season will give us the tools and strength to fight for many more titles in the future.
Ultimately, I think at the beginning of the season the car was not what we wanted, at the end of the season, too, but there was nothing left for us. We gradually added, but, in my opinion, the fundamental features were preserved to the end, as we saw this weekend.
I think the season rather served to unite the team. I am very proud of everyone and thankful to the people who just kept working, ” said the seven-time Formula 1 champion.
