Several Formula 1 teams are interested in the services of the current head of Ferrari, Mattia Binotto.
Binotto, according to Italian press reports, should leave the post of head of Ferrari. He is expected to be replaced by current Alfa Romeo boss Frédéric Wasser from January 2023. The current executive director of Ferrari, Benedetto Vigna, may become interim leader.
According to Formu1a. uno, in the event of leaving Ferrari, several teams will be interested in Binotto`s invitation at once. In particular, the sources of the publication confirm the interest in Binotto from Alpin, Aston Martin and another top team.
It is also reported that Ferrari President John Elkann and Binotto for a long time could not agree on the terms of the termination of cooperation. It is believed that Elkann wanted Binotto to sign his own resignation, while the Italian disagreed.
Now the parties were able to reach an agreement - according to the well-known journalist Dieter Renken, the official announcement of Binotto`s departure from Ferrari should follow on Tuesday, November 29.
