Brazilian prosecutors have launched an investigation against three-time Formula 1 champion Nelson Piquet.
The investigation is linked to alleged incitement to violence and inciting divisions between the military and other branches of government, prosecutors said.
The ex-racer said that the elected president of Brazil, Lula da Silva, belongs to the cemetery. Piqué, who is a vocal supporter of outgoing President Jair Bolsonaro, also called Lulu a son of a bitch. Bolsonaro lost the election to Lula by a narrow margin.
Earlier, Humberto Costa, one of Lula`s closest allies, filed a complaint against Piqué.
