Columbus has signed QMJHL scoring leader Jordan Dumay.
The player signed a 3-year rookie contract. He was selected 96th overall by the Blue Jackets in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft in the 3rd round.
The striker has 51 (19 assists 32) points in 23 games for Halifax in the Quebec Junior League this season.
Dumay leads all Canadian Hockey League (CHL) players in scoring, 2 points ahead of WHL scoring leader Connor Bedard of Regina (he has 49 points in 23 games, 19+30).
