Daria Kasatkina defeated the eighth racket of the world Corey Gauff at the final WTA tournament - 7:6, 6:3.
It was Kasatkina`s seventh match against top-five opponents this season and her fifth win. She suffered the only defeats from the first racket of the world Igi Sventek - in the semi-finals of Roland Garros and on Tuesday at the final.
In general, this year Kasatkina has six victories over the top 10 tennis players - only Schventek has more (14).
