The Bournemouth players ended the practice of kneeling before matches of the English championship. Team captain Steve Cook explained that the gesture no longer meant so much in the fight against racism and discrimination.
`Fighting all forms of discrimination and striving for equality for all are very important things for everyone on the team, ` Cook said in a statement on the club`s official website ahead of Saturday`s second division match against Queens Park Rangers.
