Atalanta made almost 30 shots on goal for Cagliari and won with 3:1 the eighth final match between them from the tournament for the Italian Cup. Alexei Miranchuk, Luis Muriel and Bosko Shutalo were right for the `Bergamas`, and Ricardo Sotil scored for the guests from Sardinia. Cagliari goalkeeper Guillermo Vicario had a series of brilliant interventions that prevented Atalanta from achieving a more convincing victory.
