Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer declined to comment on the ruling of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which overturned Manchester City`s ruling imposed by UEFA for violating the Financial Fair Play.
`Other people can comment, but that`s none of my business. Financial fair play was created to keep football clubs sustainable. It also gives us rules to follow. Let other people discuss what`s right andwhich is wrong, `Solskjaer said. The Red Devils may be the victims of a court ruling, as this could lead to non-participation in the Champions League. Manchester City have been penalized for not playing in European tournaments for two seasons. This meant that the fifth in the English Championship standings would qualify for the Champions League. Now the first four teams will have this right, and currently United is fifth.
Solskjaer`s colleagues Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho had no problem expressing their views on the matter. The Portuguese described the court`s decision as a `disgrace`, and the Liverpool manager said it was not a `good day for football`.
