Spain`s Rafael Nadal will return to the top of the world rankings on April 2. This happened when Roger Federer (Switzerland) surprisingly lost in the second round of the Masters Series tournament in Miami by Thanasis Kokkinakis (Australia) with 6:3, 3:6, 6:74). Nadal does not participate in Miami because of an injury, but will top the list because Federer, who won the tournament last year, failed to defend his winning points. So far Federer has been number one in the world 306 weeks in his career and Nadal - 167 weeks.
