Russian Daria Kasatkin and Japanese Naomi Osaka will be arguing for the title of the Indian Wells tennis tournament. Both were considered outsiders, but managed to get to the battle for the trophy.
Cassatkin, placed under the number 20 in the scheme, beat the former number 1 in the world, Vinus Williams (USA) with 4:6, 6:4, 7:5. Osaka was more than clear against number 1 Simona Halep (Romania) after 6:3 and 6:0.
