Claudio Ranieri expressed his great desire to take over the Italian national team. As it is known, Skuadra Adzura remained without a picker after the big fiasco in the barracks for the World Championship in Russia this year. The names of a number of Italian specialists, including Antonio Conte, Roberto Mancini, and Carlo Ancelotti, have been nominated for the post. Ranieri, who currently heads the French Nantes team, was coached by teams like Chelsea, Roma, Inter and Leicester, with the English club winning the Premier League title:
Any Italian coach would takethe national team without thinking. I have a contract with Nantes for two years and I have not yet received an invitation to take over Italy.
