Salty fine for PAOK due to police accident3-02-2018 |
A court in northern Greece has condemned the PAOK football club to pay a total of 18, 900 euros to two policemen injured by the fans of the club from Thessaloniki during the Olympics match in 2016. One policeman was hit by a bottle while the other was set on fire after PAOK fans attacked the police for a decision by the chief judge not to punish a penalty for their benefit at the end of the match.
For the injuries, the two policemen will receive 12, 900 and 6, 000 euros respectively.
