Resume work for matches in Spain27-01-2018 |
A Spanish judge resumed a football match deal, which includes the meeting between Levante and Zaragoza in May 2011, the AP reported. The Valencian court has announced that it has begun a lawsuit after it has accepted the appeal by state prosecutors to resume the case, which has been adjourned at a lower instance. The court has agreed with prosecutors that there are indications that Zaragoza has paid 965, 000 euros (1 million dollars) to Levante players to lose the match. Zaragoza won the 2:1 match at the end of the 2010/2011 season and so escaped from relegation. Both clubs and heads of clubs denied the charges.
