15-year-old Ukrainian Martha Costyuk qualified for the third round of the Australian Open. She defeated host representative Olivia Rogovska with 6:3, 7:5. Costuck became the youngest tennis player to reach the third round of a Grand Slam tournament for 20 years. The Ukrainian, who started the qualifying tournament, is the 521st in the world, but she was successful in Melbourne and last year when she won the girls. The next rival of Costyuk will be her compatriot Elina Svitolina.
