Former world tennis leader Serena Williams (USA) will return to the Abu Dhabi demonstration tournament at the end of next week, local newspaper The National reported.
Williams will play a match on December 30th against Aylon Ostapko.
The 36-year-old American has not played since the end of January last year when she won her 23rd Grand Slam title in Australia.
She later announced she was pregnant, and on September 1 she gave birth to her daughter, Alexis Olympia. Later, in mid-November, she married the father of the child, Alexis Ognyan.
Williams has been training for more than a month and does not intend to end his professional career. She even plans to defend her title in Melbourne in January if she is physically ready.
At the Abu Dhabi demonstration tournament, the newcomer, Novak Djokovic, the Austrian Dominic Team, the Russian Andrey Rubley, the Spanish Pablo Carenio Busha and Roberto Bautista Aguque and the South African Kevin Anderson will join.
