The 2010 NBA champion with Los Angeles Lakers Meta World Peace joined the South Bay Lakers club coaching staff in the G-League, formerly known as the Development League. The 37-year-old Peace will be responsible for player development, working under the direct leadership of senior coach Kobe Carl. Peace, whose birth name is Ron Artester, a game for the Lakers team between 2009 and 2013, and between 2015 and 2017. In his 17-year career in the NBA he also brings the teams of Chicago, Indiana, Sacramento, Houston and New York.
