Former Georgian national and footballer Milan Kaha Khalidze won the election of Mayor of Tbilisi, the CEC announced after processing all 727 minutes from various sections of the city. 39-year-old Kaladze, who is a representative of the Georgian Dream Party, has received the trust of 51, 06% of voters in the election, which took place on Saturday.
Second with just over 17 percent of the vote is Aleko Elisaville. Kalladze was born February 27, 1978 in the town of Smitreya in the family of the footballer and captain of local club Lokomotiv Carlo Kallade. Between 1995 and 1997 Kaha Callada played for Dynamo Tbilisi, and in the period 1998-2000 he wore the team Dinamo Kiev. From 2001 to May 2010, Kaladze played for Milan in Milan, winning twice the Champions League.
