Serena Williams will not take part in the final tournament of the Women's Tennis Association, which launched on October 23, Singapore.
'I am very upset that I'm not going to play in Singapore. It's been a very difficult year for me. I've discussed the trauma to the shoulder with my doctor and he insisted to stay home.', said Williams in a video message on the social network Twitter.
Because of the injury, the 35-year-old American tennis player missed the tournament in Wuhan by the end of September and Beijing in October.
