Tzvetana Pironkova lost against the Swiss player, Belinda Bencic with 3:6, 3:6, in the second round of the tournament in Sydney (Australia).
The 18-year-old Bencic made a breakthrough in the first game of the match, and with her second breakthrough closed the first set in his favor. Pironkova led with 3:1 games in the second half and had a lead of 40:0 points in the fifth game, but made a complete reversal, losing five straight games and the match.
In the quarterfinals, the Swiss is going out against Russian Ekaterina Makarova, which continues forward after the failure of the German, Angelique Kerber.
