The former champion Ana Ivanovic (Serbia) qualified for the quarterfinals of the Australian Open tennis France.
The number 7, Ivanovich, has had over ninth-seeded Ekaterina Makarova (Russia) with 7:5, 3:6, 6:1 after 99 minutes a game.
The Serbian disposed of 30 profitable hit on 19 of a rival goddess and managed to reach success after an impressive game in the third set, in which he won four consecutive games to close the match.
Ivanovic also reached the quarterfinals at Roland Garros for the first time since 2008, when he won the title.
The next rival of the Serbian will be pasted under number 19 Elina Svitolina from Ukraine.
The 20-year-old Svitolina prevailed over Finnish Alizee Korne with 6:2, 7:6 (9), and became the first Ukrainian in history, which came in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open of France.
Svitolina won the first five games on his way to success in the first set. In the second part she lead with 4:2 and then served twice for the match at 5:4 and at 6:5, but made breakthroughs. In the tie-break, Svitolina pulled with 6:3 points but squandered three consecutive matchballs.
She still ended up with the victory at the sixth opportunity after Korne sent the ball into the net with his 42nd unprovoked mistake in the Derby.
The meetings were suspended at the beginning of the first set for more than two hours because of rain in Paris.
