Grigor Dimitrov used Twitter to apologize to his fans after surprisingly dropping out of the tournament in Acapulco.
The Bulgarian, who was the winner of the trophy last year lost with 5:7, 6:4, 0:6 by Ryan Harrison in the second round of the tournament.
'I apologize to everyone that I didn't play better. I promise to come back stronger next year. Thank you for the incredible support.' wrote Grigorov in the social network.
