The Japanese Kei Nishikori won the tennis tournament on home soil in Tokyo with a prize of 1.23 million dollars. The final number 4 in the scheme Nishikori beat the third placed Milos Raonic with 7: 6 (5), 4: 6, 6: 4 for 2:13.
Finalist from the United States Open won fourth trophy of the season, second in Tokyo after 2012 and a total of seven in his career. The two exchanged a break in the game and scored 22 Raonic aces.
In the decisive third set, Nishikori reached the break in the last tenth game to win the game.
The meeting was a repeat of the final in 2012 when Nishikori beat Raonic in three sets, becoming the first Japanese to win the tournament. The Canadian lose a third consecutive final in Tokyo.
