Juan Martin del Potro approach to just one win away from qualification for the World Cup final round after recording success over Nicolas Almagro with 6-4, 6-3 to reach the semifinals of the Masters Series tournament in Shanghai.
The Argentine recorded a victory over his opponent in the second week after stopped him in the semifinals of the tournament in Tokyo last Saturday.
