Petra Kvitova and Jelena Jankovic will miss the Cup of the Kremlin, organizers announced. Both players who have secured their participation in the final tournament on the WTA in Istanbul and do not need points.
For the same reason Kvitova does not play this week in Linz and Jankovic - in Osaka. Both are safe for the prestigious tournament in Istanbul, in which will also participate Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka, Agnieszka Radwanska, Li Na and Sara Errani.
This season, Kvitova and Jankovic won one tournament. The Czech girl triumphs in Tokyo and the Serb - in Bogota. The competition for the Cup of Kremlin will be held from 12 to 20 October at the sports complex "Olympic" in Moscow.
