Jankovic will not play in Osaka 7-10-2013

Jelena Jankovic will not participate in the tournament on hard courts in Osaka because of thigh injury, announced the organizers.

The Serb informed them of her decision after the loss of Serena Williams with 2-6, 2-6 in the final match of the competition in Beijing on Sunday.

Jankovic had to play in the first round with the Canadian Aleksandra Wozniak. The place of the Serb will take the representative of France Kristina Mladenovic.

The tournament in Osaka has a prize fund 235 000 USD.
