Roger Federer had no problems to rank at 1/4-final ATP tournament in Hamburg after victory in two sets over the Czech Jan Hajek.

Federer defeated his opponent with 6-4, 6-3 in just over an hour to ensure his place among the final eight.

The next opponent of the former world number one's Florian Mayer. 1/4-final between them will be played today. "Victories like these helps me," said Federer after the success.
