Marion Bartoli finally won a Grand Slam after beating Sabine Lisicki with 6-1, 6-4 in the final of this year's "Wimbledon."
28-year-old Frenchwoman played his second final of the Open tennis tournament in Britain, but in 2007 lost the championship game from Venus Williams.
Today, she had another chance to win a Grand Slam and 15th in the main draw advantage in the best way, not leaving any chance for 23-year-old German.
Before this match Lisicki had won three of her four matches against Bartoli, but the French competitor showed that greatly raised the level after attracting Amelie Mauresmo as her personal trainer.
Interestingly, exactly Mauresmo was the last the Frenchwoman has won "Wimbledon." In 2006, she defeated Justine Henin in the final.
