Nadal lost a set, but moves forward in Paris31-05-2013 |
Rafael Nadal had a tough match against Martin Klizan even lost a set, but eventually won with 4:6, 6:3, 6:3, 6:3, and continues in the third round.
The match started with the advantage of the Slovak who played at a very high level and get to the breakthrough that brought him success in the first set.
In the second set, Nadal picked up speed, make two breaks and Klizan managed to return only one, so the score was tied.
A breakthrough decide the outcome of the third set and in the fourth Nadal totally controlling what happens on the court and led with 5:1. There was a slight drop of the Spaniard and break for the 35th in the world Klizan. In his next service game however Nadal made no mistake and won after new 6:3.
Nadal's next opponent will be Fabio Fognini, who reached this stage after beating Lukas Rosso with 6:2, 7:6, 2:6, 6:1.
