Federer, Wawrinka and Del Potro continue in Rome15-05-2013 |
Roger Federer (Switzerland) and Juan Martin del Potro (Argentina) qualified for the third round of the tennis tournament in Rome, which is the Masters Series. Federer defeated with 6:1 6:2 Potito Starace from Italy and Del Potro took Andrey Kuznetsov from Russia with 6:3, 6:2.
Federer, who has never won in Rome, had no problems with the experienced Italian. He won the first set in just 20 minutes, and then gave only two sets to his opponent against whom won for the seventh time. For their part Starace played for the first time in main draw of the tournament this season.
In the second round even qualify another Swiss - one of the best friends of Federer - Stanislas Wawrinka. He worked hard a lot to win in three sets against Carlos Berlocq (Argentina) with 5:7, 6:3, 6:3. Julien Benneteau (France) even stopped at the start seeded 12 in the scheme of the tournament Nicolas Almagro (Spain) 7:6 (2), 6:4.
