Andy Murray won the Masters title in Miami, after near a unique three-hour battle defeat David Ferrer with 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (1), when even save machbol of his rival.
Both players played a match mainly with shown will and character, filled with a bunch of twists and great rallies and at his end literally walked hardly on the court precisely that prevented David Ferrer to be equivalent in the third set tiebreak.
The game started superb for Ferrer, who was great on the court and quickly led with 5:0. Murray return one break for 5:2, but then again, the Spaniard took the submission of his rival and closed the first part.
In the second set Murray has significantly increased his level, make a breakthrough and came close to a second. Instead, Ferrer return the break for 4:4, but in the next game the Scot returned his advance, then took the set without problems of his own serve and tied the score.
But all this pales before what happened in the third set. He started with an incredible six consecutive breaks and result 3:3 before Ferrer somehow manages to win his submission. At 4:4 Murray reached a new breakthrough that seemed to be decisive in the match. The Scot served for the match, but at this point Ferrer return the break and at 6:5 reached machbol in the submission of his opponent. In subsequent playmaking the Spaniard requests hawk eye, convinced that Murray was shot went in out. The system has shown, however, the ball is caught the line and so came to the tiebreak. In it now the forces of Ferrer was not enough, he apparently had problems with movement and Murray was able to win with 7:1.
For Murray, who in the third round beat Grigor Dimitrov won the trophy and the Scot efforts were rewarded with the ascent to № 2 in the ATP rankings - leveled the best achievement for Murray, who was at that position in 2009.
