Without problems for Nadal and Federer in the third round of Indian Wells12-03-2013 |
Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are getting closer to meeting in the quarterfinals of the Indian Wells Masters, having had no problems in the their matches of the third round of the tournament.
Nadal qualified for the fourth round without playing after his rival Leonardo Mayer gave up before the match because of a back injury. Federer, in turn, easily overcame the Croat Ivan Dodig - 6-3, 6-1 in just over an hour. Nadal next opponent is Ernests Gulbis and of Federer - Stanislas Wawrinka. If record wins both will face each other again after a lapse of just one year - for the last the Swiss beat his main rival namely in the semifinals of Indian Wells.
