Rafael Nadal won with 2:0 (6:2, 6:3) sets David Nalbandian in the final of the tournament in Brazil. So the Spaniard won the first title since his return.
Nadal absent longer because of a knee injury, and then defeating Nalbandian won the 51st career title.
The Spaniard started unconvincing the tournament but in the final against his Argentinian rivals and showed the best of what he can do.
Nadal won the first set without a problem. In the second, however, was losing with 0:3 games. Ultimately, however, won the next six games and also congratulated with the title of the tournament in Brazil.
