Treated injury recently Rafael Nadal recorded a new expressive victory which secured a place in the final of the tournament in Vina del Mar, Chile. The Spanish left-hander defeated the third placed Jeremy Chardy with 6-2, 6-2 and also reached the final meeting without losing a set.
Nadal this week returned to the court after seven-month absence due to injury and demonstrates impressive form on clay tournament with a prize fund 410 200 USD. In the semis, Rafa has met with the resistance of Chardy only for 64 minutes and is now awaiting his latest opponent - Argentine Horacio Sebalos. Nadal is currently the world's fifth racket and Sebalos occupies 73 th place in the ranking. South American reached the final in Vina del Mar after beating his compatriot Carlos Berlok with 6-3, 7-6 (7-4).
Nadal beat Sebalos in 2010 on the way to one of his seven titles at Roland Garros. The Spaniard won the French Open last year, and then due to a knee injury he was forced to miss the London Olympics, the U.S. Open, Austrelian Open and the Davis Cup final.
